  •   We (couple+parent) have stayed at Low Branthwaites for a week in July/August 2019. I am usually off social media but opened a trip advisor account to specifically enter a comment... read more on this cottage, because we are so awed by it. We have enjoyed the great hospitality of Anna and Darren. The cottage was wonderful with a stunning scenery and more than cosy living area on the first floor with wonderful views into the Yorkshire Dales. It is an excellent starting point both into the Dales and into the Lake District. You can stay at the cottage and simply relax and enjoy, or start for walking trips or other excursions like steam locomotive trips with the Dalesman or the Scaraborough Spa Express from West Coast Railways. It may happen that you wake up by a "Baaaaah" coming from a sheep in front of your bedroom. Nature pure from a luxury cottage! More

Anna was fantastic and helpful although we left in very early hours to do the 3 peaks challenge our breakfast was served for us. Seriously it's a little treasure between gorgeous hills. The beds and pillows are comfortable, the sofa and blankets are cosy, the house is just perfect. I could stay there sitting on a sofa for weeks and read a book on rainy evenings and feel so relaxed.
We both loved it and would recommend a stay. I would love to come back with my family next time.
    Love, Agnes More
