Converted from a 17th Century animal barn and a hay loft, this split level, private apartment is full of character.
The double high lounge with exposed oak beams and a large open fire is full of light and boasts stunning, uninterrupted views of the Dale and Howgills. There are 3 large sofas here for you to relax on, as well as a TV, a collection of DVD’s, books and board games.
There is also a small kitchennet, with a microwave, kettle, toaster, small fridge and a single induction hob as well as selection of tableware and cookware, should you need to warm up a meal.
Downstairs there are two comfortable bedrooms, with superking size beds ( which can also convert to 4 singles) with duck feather and down bedding for you to sink into at the end of a busy day of walking. There are some pure wool blankets here too if you need some extra warmth.
The decor of the private bathroom is a nod to our love of birds and wildlife whilst the high spec shower room is all about modern comforts.
Please note that the access to the apartment is via the track and a small flight of stone steps, which are unsuitable for guests with reduced mobility.
